This blog was created with the aim of capturing the progress made by students of SST, that are involved in The Rooftop Project, in the latter part of 2012, and the first half of 2013.

The project aims to give the SST students a voice in designing and developing a unique learning space at the rooftop area. Initially designed as a garden space, the project has developed into a mentorship scheme of sort for the selected students. Under the tutelage of interior designers and architects, these students would work on developing a viable, yet unique learning space that they can call their own.

The timeline for the project begins in Term 4 of 2012 (October), and would end sometime in March 2013, just in time for the school's official opening ceremony.

The hope is that through this project, students would be able to understand and deepen their learning, and would be able to see the relevance of their content knowledge, in an actual project.
